The Substitute for Grandma's Dry Thanksgiving Turkey

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year!!! It's a time to share with family and friends, all of the things that you are thankful for. Traditionally, as Americans we partake in the thanksgiving holiday by partaking in an abundance of food and drink. The candied yams, the pies and cakes, the dressing, and all the necessary fix-ins to boot. We all swim in a sea of edible delicacies that someone has spent several days preparing.
But we can't forget about the Turkey, the part of the meal that isn't Thanksgiving until its cooked, carved and served. In my family Thanksgiving is not centered around the turkey, because the poor bird that sits on our dining room table has been burned beyond recognition and is as dry as the bones upon which the "meat" sits. If this is how you describe your Thanksgiving bird, then I offer you a succulent suggestion of epic proportions. HONEY BAKED HAM!!! Yes, I said it Ham!!! And if this isn't to your liking they serve turkey as well. This store is an excellent alternative to your grandmother's dry and inedible turkey. It's a win/win situation, grandma doesn't have to cook and you get to eat something delicious, in the family's eyes your a hero!!!!

The Fabulous Sandwiches at PotBelly's

PotBelly's is an excellent restaurant for those frequent sandwich cravings during the day!!!!
Oh yeah, they have great shakes and cookies too. The atmosphere has a down home feel, if you want a great sandwich, PotBelly's on State St. in Ann Arbor IS THE WAY TO GO!!! Don't ever get the Chicken Salad Sandwich from there though, its disgusting. Just a note say what to stay away from. Everything else is absolutely delicious and if you don't believe me then...just don't that means more sandwiches for me!!!! The website gives a better feel for the restaurant http://www.potbelly.com/
